奧斯汀美中商會注冊于2013年3月7日，是為服務于德州中部地區和中國之間的經濟、商貿合作而成立的非政治、非宗教、非盈利機構。目前，商會共有理事20多名，分別是金融、財務、房地產、餐飲、教育、公共關系等領域的專業人士或資深人士。商會下設財經、教育文化、房地產、進出口、養生保健、餐飲業合作等多個委員會。本著“架橋中美，服務社區”的宗旨，一方面，奧斯汀美中商會積極聯系中美兩國政府和企業，為兩國的經貿交流牽線搭橋。同時，商會積極為社區服務，通過開展各種類型的活動，滿足本地華人社區的需求。奧斯汀美中商會理事會對社會開放，歡迎各屆人士加入，共同為中美交流、社區服務做出貢獻。
